How does an evaporative air cooler works ? A: Pump located in water tank circulates water on pads & pad becomes saturated with water. A fan draws warm air from outside and forces it through the pads. As the water passes through the pads, water takes heat from the air with it.
A: They are evaporative coolers that are completely portable and require no installation or wiring. Bajarang’s manufactures a full range of models that can be used in any room of your house or commercial portable models that may be used in shops, garages, greenhouses, job sites, industrial, agricultural, sporting events or tented parties. Many of the portable coolers may be operated with fan only when evaporative cooling is not needed and are ready to go anywhere. For more information, check Air coolers section.
A: For best results, always allow the air from the Cooler to flow through the room. This ensures that you get a constant supply of fresh cool air and that the warm stale air is pushed out.
Why do we use coolers in our Household / offices ? · Delivers 100% cool fresh air (With Sufficient Ventilation) · Improves air quality · Economical to run – less than a light bulb (for Some of our models with Advanced Power Saver Technology) · Powerful and quiet · Environmentally friendly – does not emit harmful gases into atmosphere · No re-circulation of stale air · Helps avoid most of the side effects of Air conditioned units (including the fat electricity bill.) · Balances moisture in the air · Easier maintaince & long life.
A: Best option is to drain water out completely & let the Air cooler dry for a day, but another solution is to add a 50 ml of dettol/ or any non – corrosive disinfectant into water run it for 15 minutes & drain the water. How much temperature we can reduce by evaporative cooler ? A: That depends on the temperature and humidity of the ambient air. For example, at a temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity of 50% the air from the Cooler will be at 20°C - a 5°C drop. Or, at a temperature of 35°C and a relative humidity of 30% the air from the Cooler will be 25°C - a 10°C drop.
A: An evaporative cooler consumes about one-fourth of the electrical energy required to operate a refrigerated air conditioning unit. You can save up to 80% on your summer cooling bill.
A: A simple formula to calculate the required unrestricted exhaust air opening is for every 1,000 cfm's you will need 2.5 sq. ft. of unrestricted openings through windows or doors.
A: It is recommended to empty the water reservoir once a month and fill with fresh clean water to reduce scale or mineral deposits on the pad. Periodically during the season or at least once a year depending on the usage, it is important to perform some simple cleaning on your cooler to maintain its high efficiency. This involves cleaning the water system and filters.
